Happy Holidays from the Robolabs Team!
We are excited to announce our new newsletter name for moving into 2024: RoboRumbles! We think it’s a robo-tastic name that reflects what this newsletter communicates: the great work and impact students across our programs create each month!
As the year comes to a close, we want to share some of the incredible achievements and events that our teams have been involved in over the last month:
Hollywood Blockbuster VRC Signature Event: Six of our teams are competing at this star-studded event in Los Angeles, California this week, showcasing their skills and creativity in the VEX Robotics Competition. They are ready to rumble with the best of the best, and maybe even get some autographs from their favorite celebrities.
VEX Asia Open Signature Event and International STEAM Conference: One of our teams is not only competing but also delivering a keynote speech at this event in Wuxi, China, representing Robolabs on the global stage. They are spreading the word about the power and potential of robotics, and inspiring the next generation of robo-enthusiasts.
FIRST East Bay Meet: Our Robolabs Fremont FTC team participated in their second meet as part of their regional league, where they faced off against other teams in the FIRST Tech Challenge. They showed great sportsmanship and perseverance and had a blast building and programming their robot.
We are so proud of all our teams and their accomplishments, and we are grateful for the support and encouragement of our coaches, educators, and parents.
The Robolabs team got in the Holiday Season Spirit with both our East and South Bay teams enjoying a holiday dinner - there was plenty of food, laughter, and robo-talk.
Meanwhile, at Robolabs San Jose, we are wrapping up a full month of operations and we couldn’t be more excited about starting a new year serving the South Bay.
