As summer approaches, we’re thrilled to unveil our offerings, poised to make this season our most dynamic yet. Whether it’s our acclaimed 9-week robotics summer camp, the innovative one-week VEX AI program at UC Berkeley, or the chance to compete in the VEX AI World Championship, we’ve designed an array of programs to cater to every student’s passion this summer. 2024 Summer Ahead from Robolabs: Signature Robotics Summer Camp: Available at all three Robolabs locations. For details and the application link, see below. 2024 VEX AI World Championship in June: Join our VEX AI team and secure your spot at the World Championship event in Houston, Texas, scheduled for June 7-8th! And here’s what’s new this March: 2024 CREATE US Open: Six Robolabs teams showcased their skills at this national championship, with two teams achieving division finalist status—a testament to their exceptional effort and commitment. Kudos to all! Demo Day on April 20th: Get ready for the unique VEX Robotics competition where talent meets opportunity, and cash prizes are up for grabs! The countdown has begun—just a couple of weeks to go. 2024-2025 Challenge Release: Anticipation builds as the end of April will unveil the new season’s challenge. Now’s the perfect time to hone your robotics skills in preparation for the big reveal. New Batch of students to be formed at Robolabs Innovation Academy: Aspiring inventors and authors, take note! ROBOLABS SUMMER 2024 OFFERING 2024 VEX AI World Championship April and May Program June 7th - 8th Competition High school students, don’t miss out on this opportunity to attend the VEX AI World Championship by joining our VEX AI team. Use real-world AI hardware such as NVIDIA Jetson, and Intel Realsense. Plus develop algorithms for object detection, path planning, control systems, etc. Brought to you by the Excellence Award Champions at the 2021 VEX AI World Championship. Interest Form Robolabs Summer Academy @ UC Berkeley One Week Program July 14th - 20th Designed to provide students with hands-on experience in robotics, enhancing their technical skills and encouraging creative thinking. During the program, accommodations will be provided at a UC Berkeley Dormitory, offering you a comfortable and convenient living space close to the event activities. Meals will be served in the university's dining commons, ensuring a complete campus experience throughout the program. Apply Today! Signature Robotics Summer Camp All summer long! Up to 9 weeks Fun, educational Mon-Fri experience for kids interested in robotics, engineering, and innovation. Our campers will partake in an immersive robotics experience that offers the same great benefits as our robotics classes but in a condensed fashion. Available for K-12th grade students. Choose from half or full days. Each week is independent of the other and you can choose one week or all weeks. More Info… 2024 CREATE US OPEN Another successful year at the CREATE US Open with Robolabs teams B and U participating under the middle school level and teams R, C, S, and G for high school. Congratulations to teams R and C for being finalists in their division! 2024 ROBOLABS DEMO DAY Save the date: April 20th, 2024. Fun and exciting event to Demo your Skills! and win Cash prizes: VEX VRC Tournament Champions will be awarded a $1000 cash prize (2 Winners, $500 each). Tournament Finalists will be awarded a $500 cash prize (2 Winners, $250, each). Robot Skills Champion will be awarded a $500 cash prize (1st place $300 and 2nd place $200). VEX IQ Teamwork Champions will be awarded a $500 cash prize. (2 Winners, $250 each). Team Work Second place will be awarded a $250 cash prize. ( 2 Winners, $125 each). Robot Skills Champion will be Awarded $250 cash prize (1st place $150 and 2nd place $100). 2024-2025 CHALLENGE RELEASE The excitement is palpable as we edge closer to the unveiling of the 2024-2025 VEX Challenges a few weeks from now. This April, Robolabs teams are gearing up for a bustling month, juggling preparations for the much-anticipated Demo Day and revisiting robotics fundamentals to ensure they kick off the new season at full throttle. ROBOLABS INNOVATION ACADEMY BATCH 9 What will you create? Add Author and Inventor to your resume! Don’t miss the chance to join this new batch of students who will go through the process of identifying a problem, brainstorming, developing a solution, and patenting the idea. This program is ideal for students seeking a rewarding challenge where they can apply their curiosity, creativity, and inventiveness along with like-minded problem solvers. The journey is followed by our paper publication program where students use the findings from their patent journey to develop a research question and pursue it. I’m Interested!
