Greetings from the team at Robolabs and HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 🎃
November will be an eventful month for competitive robotics as we are hosting the largest International Robotics Competition in the Bay Area: “The One World VEX Robotics Showcase Event”, taking place at UC Berkeley from November 19th to 21st, 2023.
This event will feature world-class robotics teams from across the globe. We also have an incredible lineup of guest speakers coming to the event, who are leaders and innovators in the fields of engineering, education, and technology:
Richard Lyons, Associate Vice Chancellor for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at UC Berkeley
Tsu-Jae King Liu, Dean of the UC Berkeley College of Engineering
Olivier Welker, President & CEO of Omron Robotics & Safety Technologies
Dan Mantz, CEO of the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation
We are looking for Parent Volunteers to help us with the event. If you are interested, please click the button below. We greatly appreciate your support and involvement!
As if this wasn’t enough for the coming month, we are also planning to begin operations at our new San Jose Center in November! We can’t wait to start serving the South Bay.
We also want to congratulate our VEX Robotics Robolabs teams who won awards this past month, qualifying them for this year’s State Championship. Way to go! Meanwhile, our FTC and FLL teams are getting ready for their East Bay League at the Quarry Lane School to begin in November. We wish them all the best!
Finally, we encourage our teams to register for the REC Foundation Online Challenges. These challenges are a great way to showcase your skills and creativity in robotics and win prizes and recognition. Don’t miss this chance to challenge yourself and have fun. Scroll down to learn more!
