Robolabs Summer Academy: A Premier Program for Aspiring Innovators |
|
We are thrilled to announce that the VEX AI Robolabs Summer Academy will take place next month at UC Berkeley! This prestigious program has attracted over 25 students from across the country and internationally, including Tennessee, Arizona, Oregon, Northern and Southern California, and China. |
|
|
Participants will embark on an incredible journey, diving deep into topics like computer vision, neural networks, and autonomous robotics. The curriculum includes hands-on labs and workshops designed to provide practical experience and enhance problem-solving skills. Here are some highlights from the syllabus: Computer Vision and Object Detection: Learn the fundamentals of computer vision and its applications in autonomous vehicles, security systems, and VEX Robotics by using an intel RealSense Depth Camera. Neural Networks and Deep Learning: Gain insights into neural network architectures and train object detection models. Robot Mechanical Design and Assembly: Discover effective building techniques and assemble robots using the VEX AI system. CAD and 3D Modeling: Engage in computer-aided design and 3D printing to enhance your robotics projects. Positioning and Tracking Techniques for Autonomous Robots: Utilize the VEX GPS sensor for precise navigation and tracking.

ROBOLABS TRIUMPHS AT THE VEX AI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP |

We are immensely proud to announce that our Robolabs team 3303X won the prestigious Think Award at the 2024 VEX AI World Championship in Houston, Texas! Our autonomous robots put on an incredible show, navigating obstacles, playing defense, and scoring points with unmatched precision. Team 3303X's two robots consistently performed complex tasks autonomously, impressing everyone on the world stage. Congratulations to the team for their hard work and dedication! |

Our Innovation Academy has helped dozens of top students identify problems, brainstorm and develop solutions, and patent their ideas. They then use the findings from their patent journey to develop a research question and pursue it by writing and publishing a scientific research paper.
